Rochford Angling Club are proud to have hosted more than 300 children for free fishing sessions since we started running them, in 2022. Many of these children have joined the club as juniors and as a result several parents have returned to fishing after a period of absence.

In order to help new members, both juniors and adult, we have written some guides which are not intended to be a definitive work but rather a brief summary of the basics that will allow them to enjoy angling and hopefully go on to become experienced members in the years ahead and develop a love of angling that will last a lifetime.

The guides are downloadable as a PDF below so feel free to print them and if you have any questions or need a bit of advice feel free to ask any of the members who are involved with the junior sessions, though we are confident that any of our members would be more than happy to assist a newcomer if asked.
